Operations controllers plan and assign; dispatchers see their own flights

Shifts shows who is working, what they are assigned, and where it doesn't fit. Operations controllers assign each flight to a dispatcher (or take it themselves). Assigning doesn't change anyone's role.

Add shifts

  1. Choose + Add shift.
  2. Pick the person and the type: On shift, or Unavailable (leave, sickness or training; they can't be assigned).
  3. Set start and end, break times, base and a note.
  4. To repeat yesterday's roster, choose Copy previous day's shifts.

Assign movements

  • Drag a movement onto a person to assign it, or choose the person from the movement's dropdown.
  • Or set the assigned controller when creating or editing the booking.
  • Flights can be assigned to operations controllers and dispatchers, not to ramp staff.
  • A person must be on the FBO's team and not marked unavailable during the movement.

Let GHSLink propose a plan

  1. Choose Generate Assignment Plan.
  2. GHSLink proposes an assignee for each unassigned movement: VIP and high-priority movements first, and the least-loaded suitable person wins. Dashed bars show the proposal.
  3. Accept, move or override the proposals. Nothing is saved until you accept.

Conflicts it warns about

  • Unavailable
  • Off shift
  • On break
  • Overlapping movements
  • Missing a required skill

My shift

Everyone has My shift in the user menu: their own flights for today. Dispatchers open each one to run it from their phone (see "Dispatching your flights").
