Service requests and transport

Send requests to FBOs and book cars, then follow each one until it's done.

Get a quote and send a request to an FBO

  1. On a leg, pick a GHSLink FBO as the handler and add the services you need.
  2. Choose Get quote.
  3. If the FBO has approved your organisation, you see their prices for this trip: your agreed rates if you have a contract, their standard prices otherwise. Fuel is priced per litre or gallon. The quote is valid for 7 days.
  4. If you are new to that FBO, you'll see "We're unable to provide a quote". Choose Confirm provisional request to send it anyway: the FBO reviews your organisation and your request, and replies with confirmation and pricing.
  5. Some FBOs quote every request by hand: choose Send request and they send you their prices.
  6. Follow it on Service requests. Statuses: Not sent, Requested, Acknowledged, Confirmed, Declined, Cancelled, Done.

Quotes the FBO sends you

When an FBO prices your request by hand, its quote (or proforma) appears under Quotes from FBOs on the trip, on your dashboard and on Service requests. Open it to see every line.

  1. Choose Accept or Decline on a quote waiting for your answer.
  2. Add a note if you like (for example your PO number, or why you are declining) and confirm.
  3. The FBO sees your answer and note on their copy straight away.

If you later change a leg that the FBO has already confirmed, GHSLink raises an amendment for the FBO automatically.

The Service requests tabs are Waiting on provider, Not sent, Confirmed, Declined, and Done & cancelled.

Book transport

  1. On a leg, choose + Transport on arrival or + Transport to departure.
  2. The booking goes to a GHSLink transport company as a job in Exec.
  3. Follow it on Transport (Upcoming / Past): driver assigned, on the way, and so on.

Reference

  • Aircraft: your fleet: registration, ICAO type, fuel, seats, home base.
  • Clients: who you fly for: individuals, charter customers, flight departments.
  • Airports: ICAO/IATA, local time and the GHSLink FBOs there.
  • FBOs & handlers: the directory of handlers you can send requests to.
