| Term | Meaning |

| FBO | Fixed-base operator: the ground handler at an airport. An FBO workspace is one FBO's team and data. |
| Organisation (FBO side) | A company the FBO deals with, reused as owner, operator/charterer or billing agent. |
| Organisation (operator side) | An operator, trip support company, flight department or broker using the Organisation workspace. |
| Reservation | An 8-character reference grouping the movements of one booking. |
| Movement | One aircraft visit to the FBO: arrival, time on the ground, departure. Also shown as "flight". |
| Trip / leg | An operator's journey (trip) made of flights between airports (legs). |
| Service record | A service requested or delivered on a movement, such as fuel, GPU or handling. |
| Booking request | A new booking, change, cancellation or capacity conflict waiting for a controller's decision. |
| Service request | An operator's request to an FBO for a leg. |
| Assigned controller | The person responsible for a movement. Assigning doesn't change their role. |
| Role | What a person is allowed to do in a workspace. A person can hold several. |
| Skill | A capability on a person (for example Customs) matched against a movement's required skills. |
| Close out | The end-of-day or end-of-shift check and handover sheet. |
| Billing transaction | Completed services grouped and ready to invoice. |
| Quote / proforma | Commercial documents ahead of the work. They never lock a flight. |
| Customer status | How far an FBO trusts an organisation: New, Approved, Contract or Blocked. Decides whether they see prices. |
| Agreed rate | A price negotiated with one customer for one service, for set dates. Applied automatically. |
| Provisional request | A request from an organisation the FBO hasn't approved yet: sent without prices, reviewed by the FBO. |
| On / off blocks | When the aircraft arrived on stand and when it left. Recorded by the dispatcher; later also by ACARS or EUROCONTROL feeds. |
| Credit note | The correction for an issued invoice, which can't be edited. |
| Batch (Ramp) | The bag manifest for one flight: loading, in transit, collecting, closed. |
| Job (Exec) | One transport booking: a pickup, a drop-off, a driver and a vehicle. |
